Samoter: Trade show for the construction industry
Verona, Italy. The world’s biggest players from the construction equipment industry met there again at the beginning of March. Amongst them will be the Heavy Plate unit of ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe. As always, the best in production and service was on display. Heavy Plate presented its special structural steels XAR®, N-A-XTRA® and XABO® to an international audience.

Heavy Plate big in India
Growth market India. The Heavy Plate unit of ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe aims to be part of it and took the opportunity at the beginning of February to exhibit for the first time at the BC India show in Mumbai. The new exhibition is focused on construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines and construction vehicles for the Indian subcontinent and neighboring countries.

Flat and stress-free: Heavy Plate creates new benchmark
Flat and stress-free: The Heavy Plate unit of ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe is setting new standards in light-gauge high-strength steel plate. Thanks to an advanced precision leveling machine from Austrian equipment manufacturer Andritz Sundwig, the Duisburg-based steel producer can now also supply absolutely flat and stress-free plate made of high-strength materials with yield strengths of up to 1,800 megapascals (MPa). The state-of-the-art machine can process plate thicknesses of up to 60 millimeters.
